My mac is dying. I've only got a windows laptop remaining. Is it possible to play my parallels virtual machine on windows 8?

You are missing one piece of information, in what virtualization program? Parallels Workstation (the equivalent of PDM for Windows)? VirtualBox? VMWare? I think the first can read/import PDM VMs, and the other two might be able to import, you'll have to try yourself.

There might be a problem with licensing as the hardware will change (as far as Windows is concerned) and Windows will have to be reactivated.

Thank you for the response. I'm actually looking for ANY software that'll allow me to run the VMs that were created on my mac, and running in parallels on my mac. I just couldn't find a parallels that I could buy for Windows. I'll use whatever, I just need something.
