LOL yes just open the desktop in Windows explorer before switching to coherence you can make the window very narrow too fourth option in the View menu and drag wiht mouse the programmers could make it have a transparent background just post in the wish list forum but why? Hugh W
you can also add the Desktop toolbar to the taskbar which wil give you access to all of your desktop itens under a simple one click menu.
