Hello, we have a domain set up on our network and our Mac clients with Parallels are logging in to a localized remote profile in Windows XP. If the machines are on the local network everything works great, but if I disconnect the network the users are unable to log in because "the domain is not available". On a regular XP machine, the computer uses cached credentials to allow users to log on when offline. Why doesn't this work with XP running on Parallels? Parallels is configured with bridged Ethernet. I've seen the post about toggling the network setting from bridged to shared, but I don't understand how this is applicable. First of all, with the virtual machine running, I only have options to turn on shared networking. To see the setting for Bridged Ethernet I have to turn off the virtual machine. I've also tried choosing disconnect to try and force the virtual machine to realize it is offliine. Please help. Thanks.
I'm having the exact same issues and have tried a variety of options with network settings. I've also done quite a bit of searching but can't find anything around this, are others having this issue? Thanks!
