    Hello Parallels Team,

I am using Parallels Desktop for Mac - Business Edition on a Mac mini M4 (Apple Silicon) to run Windows 11 ARM.

I am facing a critical issue with Adobe Acrobat Reader on the Windows virtual machine.

The application either fails to install correctly or, once installed, is not properly detected by third-party software.

This is a blocking problem for my daily professional activity, because my accounting software (Suite IPSOA) strictly requires Adobe Acrobat Reader or Adobe Acrobat to be installed on Windows in order to generate, manage, and digitally sign PDF documents. Alternative PDF viewers are not accepted by the software.

    System details:

    • Mac: Mac mini M4 (Apple Silicon)

    • macOS: latest version

    • Parallels Desktop: Business Edition, latest version

    • Guest OS: Windows 11 ARM (installed via Parallels)

I am aware that Windows 11 on Apple Silicon is ARM-based and that Adobe Acrobat is not officially native for Windows ARM. However, this configuration is currently unavoidable on Apple Silicon Macs, and Acrobat compatibility is essential for professional software such as accounting and tax applications.

    I would like to ask:

    1. Is there any recommended or supported procedure to install Adobe Acrobat Reader or Adobe Acrobat Pro on Windows 11 ARM using Parallels?

    2. Are there specific offline installers, MSI packages, registry settings, or Parallels configuration options that can improve compatibility?

    3. Are there known limitations between Parallels Desktop + Windows 11 ARM and Adobe Acrobat that prevent correct detection by third-party applications?

If needed, I am available to provide logs or additional system details.

Thank you in advance for your support.

    Kind regards,

    Luca

    Hallo Parallels-Team

    Sepp
