Hi, I'm currently using build 5608 to run XP on my iMac. That build works well and I have no problems with it. Anytime I try to update to build 5626, however, the install freezes and I have to actually manually reboot the whole computer to get it unstuck. Btw, I am out of the Parallels program when I'm trying to install it which I think is the correct way, but it also gets stuck if I try to install it from within Parallels as well. I've tried redownloading it several times in case I got a corrupted file, but no luck there. This has actually been a problem for a while but I just let it stand for a while since my 5608 build has worked just fine. I appreciate any help on this, Many Thanks, Frank B.
Hello, brightbelt, PLease, manually download the package using the link given in the article below: http://kb.parallels.com/en/5802 and install Parallels Desktop 5626 from this package. Please, make sure, that you download the same language pack as you currently use in your 5608.
