Since upgrading to Parallels 5600, I can no longer access my shared folder on my MacPro. I get a windows pop up screen prompting me for a password. The user name in the pop up window is grayed out and cannot be edited but it shows "macpro-pc/guest". "macpro-pc" is the name of my virtual WinXP Pro pc running inside parallels. I can access my various network drives with no issues. It's only the shared folder on my MacPro that I cannot access. I tried deleting the share in WinXP and the recreating it but did not fix the problem. I tried reinstalling Parallels 5600 and then reinstalling the Parallels Tools. This had no effect on the problem either. I have the same set up on my MacBookPro and I don't have any issues. I can access my shared folder there with no problems. Any thoughts? Thanks. Bud James
not sure if this will help... I had the same issue... and then I clicked on the CD-ROM and clicked on the parallel tools.exe which fixed all my shared folder issue.
