I just upgraded the Parallels build 1970 on my MacBook to Build 3188. Hadn't done it before as I had read some of the comments about the upgrade and decided to hold off. Seem most of the problems were with the installation of Parallels Tools.

I first upgraded the Mac to OSX 10.4.9. Didn't think that Parallels would even start, however, it did. It them came up that upgrade was available, so I installed it. Then I opened WinXP and installed Parallels Tools. Everything worked fine including Coherence.

Have to congratulate the Parallels team for making it so painless. Now, if they would just do that with the Linux version. WinXP runs about 10 times faster on the MacBook with 2 GHz core 2 Duo and 2 GB ram than under parallels in Suse Linux 10.2 on Dell D820 with 2.3 Ghz core 2 duo with 2 GB ram plus the linux version has all kinds of problems like no USB and Shared Folder are slower than molasses in January and do not even show file creation dates on the linux partition.

    Art:)
