I have a brand new MacBook with a Intel Core 2 Duo processor (2GHz) running OS X 10.4.8. I installed Parallels Desktop 3188 and set a VM for winXP, followed the instructions of OS Installation Assistant for Windows Express Installation (from a bootable CD). This should be idiot-proof, but when the winXP installation finished, the VM restarted and then was unable to boot from the HD nor the CD. I have tried to switch the device order in which the VM tries to boot without improvement. Does anybody know where's the error? Any hint would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance Ruth Alvarez
