Build 3094 - images of copy protected CDs do not work anymore

One nice property of Parallels was to be able to use an image of a copy protected disk instead of the inserted original disk. Very handy since running training programs off the CD directly is noisy, slow and uses too much energy (battery time).

With the update to Build 3094 this does not work anymore for one of my CDs (that I all own!):
mediscript 1. Abschnitt der Ärztlichen Prüfung (German medical training), ISBN 978 3 437 43863 9, Elsevier. I have many other similar CD's.

Is there a workaround - or ripping programme defeating the copy protection (for a perfectly legal use, at least over here in Switzerland, since I own the original)?

I'd really hate to run it off the CD, as it makes so much noise.
