Hi, when I plug a USB Stick to my mac or I simply throw in a CD, it will appear in Windows as a network drive (even though I picked to mount it to my mac only in the popup that appears for the usb stick). When I remove the CD or the stick, the network drive persists in Windows and can not be deleted. If I go in and tell windows to detach this network drive, it does nothing but tell me that it did not find the network drive, and keeps it attached, which slows down explorer after some time. I found no way to get rid of this crap other than rebooting windows (XP). Any hints?
Jakob, try reinstalling Parallels Tools from Add/Remove programs. Also have you tried View -> Refresh?
