Bug PD4 f/Win - Coherence mode takes keyboard input from non PD windows

Hi Guys,

I have a major problem with Coherence mode on PD4 running Win7 with Win7 as guest OS.

If I use coherence mode - PD4 has a nasty habit of tapping into other active windows and get "duplicate" keyboard input.

Example - browsing in google chrome.. Enter a URL - then the URL might also appear in Outlook running in Coherence mode in Virtual Win 7.

A bit more serious: Pressing DELETE in Chrome to clear address bar - deletes a mail in "Virtual Outlook'

Pressing [enter] in chrome - opens a mail from Virtual Outlook in new window.

I don't know if this affects other programs than Virtual Outlook - since I only use that program...

Did you ever get this issue resolved? I get the same issue seemingly at random while in coherence mode. I have also noticed sometimes parallels won't let go of my keyboard or mouse input and I can't get to the host OS. Button mashing seems to work... eventually.

no of course not. "An engineer has been assigned" but so far no updates in 3 months. Last time I use parallels - moving to Oracle Sun Virtual Box as soon as possible.

Parallels has become the Microsoft of the virtual desktop world...
