So last year I bought windos xp as part of the Virtual PC for OS X. Seem like a shame to buy a new copy of XP, however Parralles does not reconize it as a valid disk to install (disk 2) a image. Anyone have expertise in this area? Love the new Macbook Pro, but need XP for a single app.

    Thanks,

    William

I don't think it is a valid install disk. It's a special OEM copy. But what is valid is the XP registration code you got with it. If you can borrow a standard install disk you can get installed and use the XP code off your vpc. I did that very thing successfully.
