Hi folks, I want to report a (partial) success story on a very particular bootcamp configuration: Macbook, internal 100Gb hard disk not partitioned USB/FW800 external hd (actually, the old internal 80Gb SATA 2.5" in a OWC case); partitioned in 3: 10 Mb Refit partition HFS+ 20 Gb Windows FAT32 50gb scratch HFS+ Following a method found some time ago I installed XP on the USB (doesn't work using FW), it runs fine and fast, choosing at boot time the partition to use using the wonderful Refit. Now, I thought, I want to be able to use that same partition under Parallels. I made a custom config following this thread. Now XP boot up all the way until the login screen, but then when I click inside parallels, the mouse doesn't move, can't click on the user icon and then I'm stuck. I'm not sure if this is in a some way related to the strange .pvs file, or what else. Any suggestion?
