    Hello again,

Sorry for the multiple posts, but I am just wondering if it is going to be possible for me to access a boot camp/parallels combo setup from two separate mac accounts. I read about changing permissions on the .hdd file and putting things in the Shared folder, but what about if you are using a boot camp partition?

I really only need access from the one mac account, but unfortunately I wasn't thinking ahead and I did all my Parallels setup stuff in an old, public mac account before realizing that I would need to be using my own different mac account.

Is this going to be a problem? Do I need to set up Parallels again from the new account? Is the boot camp partition arranged so that it is only accessible from the original account?

Thanks very much for any answers
    Bob

    nevermind, sorry

Well, I just decided to try it and hope nothing went wrong. It seems to work fine, no re-activation required. I just changed the permissions the same way you do with a Virtual Machine, and changed the default location in Preferences to /Users/Shared/Parallels, which is where I put the old setup.
