This has got to be the third time I've tried boot camp and parallels together and it is the third time I've regretted it. First, it worked fine. I used the hardware profiles and all that good stuff and everything was working fine. I had it booted in parallels most of the time in fact, other than the initial installation I had only used parallels. Just a few minutes ago, however, something went wrong. Parallels froze up on me and I have to do a force quit. Well, Parallels didn't remount my boot camp partition forcing me to restart my entire machine. Out of complete worry, I booted it into windows through boot camp only to discover that it was missing a file and couldn't boot. I am very aggravated right now. I had no choice but to reparation my hard drive back to the 110 GB's it was before I partitioned just so I knew that the space I used for my old partition wasn't being wasted. To anyone who's got parallels and boot camp to work in harmony, God bless you, you are obviously more intelligent than I and have way better luck. But I can tell you one thing, I am never going to attempt this again. This technology NEEDS MORE WORK.
