Whenever Parallels is running, and even after I close it down, it causes a 10-second xylophone sound that bonks like a dripping faucet. I can see why some people might want the option, but it's driving me crazy. Parallels is showing up in my dock, but when it is running, the preferences options is grayed out. I can't seem to find Preferences and setup, but I don't know whether I can unset it there. Is there a simple answer to this? thanks
