After having installed the latest full version of Windows XP in my Parallels Mac Desktop, I found myself unable to set up my printer (HP LaserJet 2240) which makes use of a Bluetooth printer adapter to permit wireless use of the printer. I also notice that there is no "Bluetooth Devices" control panel showing in my Windows Control Panels. I have tried various workarounds offered by both Microsoft and by Parallels, and nothing has worked thus far. On the otherhand, in Apple's Bootcamp, I was able to set up this printer via the Bluetooth printer adapter immediately, and with no problem. Any suggestions?
This probably belongs in the Mac technical forum, but if the printer works in OSX, you can share it on the local network, and access it as a network printer in XP. Apple's Bonjour for Windows may help automate the process.
Bonjour for Windows seemingly works fine until the final step of setting up the printer, when an Error message appears stating that "You do not hav sufficient access to your computer to connect to the selected printer."
