I've identified some interesting behavior in Beta3 with regard to WiFi networking. While using Beta3 at work, I fired up a VM running XP. My laptop was already plugged into Gig Ethernet and connected to my WiFi Access Point on 802.11g. I pulled the plug on the Gig connection and the WiFi port continued to function. I didn't realize at the time that there was anything unusual going on. I didn't reboot the VM before leaving the office for the day. When I got home, I fired up the VM to continue testing USB connections and found that the WiFi wasn't pulling an address from my DHCP server (my Linksys WRV54G router). Manually punching in an address on the network adapter inside the VM managed to get things working. I want to add my kudos to the Parallels team. This is one FANTASTIC piece of software and one SERIOUSLY INSANE group of developers. You guys are fanatical about this stuff! When was the last time you saw three Beta releases in such rapid succession fixing so many bugs so quickly! I can vouch for myself when I say that Parallels for OS/X has just changed my purchasing plans for my workstation overhauls coming in early 2007. I'm probably going to deploy about 45 dual-core Macs across what is now a mixed PC/Mac environment to gain the TCO advantages and robustness of Mac with the sandbox safety of a rapidly re-deployable VM image for the few Windows applications that we can't get on the Mac platform. KUDOS PARALLELS! Steve Pearl
