Hi, after successflly installing the beta update, I no longer have the possibility to start my VM. I get the popup that say: Parallels Desktop is unable to attach to the network adapter en2: Host-only Adapter. Please check your virtual's machine configuration and try to select another network adapter, otherwise you will not be able to work with network connections inside your virtual machine and I can only click ok. I'm using the host-only networking and this worked fine before the beta update (sharing enabled in the sys prefs of macosX). What I do notice is that the en2 adapter is no longer showing after the update in the sharing-window. How come? How can I get it back. Thanks, Sven.
Sven, I had the same problem. I fixed it by using the uninstaller that came with the new beta and installing Parallels again. I went back to the system preferences and the en2: Host-only Adapter was there again! Hope that helps, Mark
If you uninstall, does it still keep your VM disk? I'm having a problem when running Parallels, airport gets shut off. (Grayed out). Can I uninstall, then re-install and the disk image will still be there? Thanks!
stompbox, Sure, uninstall will keep your disk image intact. It only uninstalls the Paralells app itself. Mark
