I have installed beta 3 and Parallels Tools at my MBP and I have some keyboard problems. M-key is acting like I hit the Show Desktop-button or Alt-Opt+M, Caps Lock works if I tap three times and the F-key works like I use Alt-Opt+F (Find). I had the same problems before I installed Parallels Tools.
Is the back-slash functional yet? I can't seem to get it to work on my MacBook. It's making it difficult to type directory paths.
I thought it was just me! How am I supposed to parse thorough log files on my RHEL 4.0 VM without a pipe? Code: egrep "me|you|them" /var/log/messages | less yeah, that no workie neither does Code: smbclient -U blah \\somehost\someshare This MBP keyboard mapping needs to be addressed.
Hit "fn" I've seen this, my "f" disappeared and instead brought up a find page in XP. I pressed "fn" several times and "f" came back to a real "f". I've also seen the weird caps lock light. The cat pressed it by accident the other night (you know how they are - wanting to be involved) anyway, the light would not switch off again, despite the actual text shifting between UPPER and lower case correctly.
solution-ish ssh in to the VM only use the vm window as a console. that is what I do (until it is fixed it is a decent option)
