    Hi there,
anyone here got backtrack 2.0 (slax) running on parallels using another resolution than 1024x768? If yes, please post your xorg.conf. I cannot get any higher resolution to work.Tried to edit the monitor HSync and VSync, but it did not change. Either KDE crashed trying to start, or it started in 1024x768.... I am a liitle lost. Any ideas?
    Thanx for any advice.

    Cherrs!

Have you figured this out yet? I have been struggling with the same issue. It makes it even more difficult since my max resolution is 1280x800 on my Macbook, so I can't see the whole screen.

I have done a lot of research on this topic through the Backtrack forums. To increase the resolution you need to install the intel drivers. Since Backtrack is Slackware based, I would suggest using a TGZ file for its simplicity. However, after installing the intel driver, X will not load. I am still working to resolve this and will keep you updated.

Is there already any progress on this topic? All my attempts to get a resolution of 1280x1024 failed.
