I had Microsoft Windows installed via Parallels on my iMac but had to reformat the hard drive because of a performance problem Apple’s geniuses at the store couldn’t fix. Time Machine seems to have backed up the Windows applications and documents, which can be restored to my hard disk, but I cannot see where the Windows desktop was backed up. I had a backup bookkeeping file on the desktop that I would like to restore. Can anyone tell me where Time Machine would have backed up the files on my Microsoft Windows desktop?
