    I have decided to scrap Boot Camp, as it was causing me too much heartache, and it's just as quick to have a VM doing the same thing.

    What I wanted to ask was : if i create a VM of XP to where i need it, then copy it to my 2nd user's profile, then can that become a 2nd machine and then I/he can modify it for his own use (ie his Outlook setup, his Windows programs ?)

    I understand I'd have to have Parallels running on his user account too.

    ++++ Build 5540, Leopard 10.5, Windows XP (OEM) ++++

    Hi,

    Yes, you can create the VM and copy it wherewer you want. It will be 2nd separate VM.

    Thanks Alex :) It was just too much hassle running it all off one bootcamp, asking my friend to log in on Mac as a user, then start Windows and log on as him again - this way it's all in one !
