I posted earlier about Autodesk Inventor crashing. It now works; here is what I did: Uninstall Inventor Service Pack 2. This will also uninstall Service Pack 1. Uninstall Windows hot fix KB918118. Start Inventor, select tools, Application Options. Select the Hardware tab. Click the check box for Open GL. This will cause Direct 3D to de-select. Re start Inventor. So far it works brilliantly, like before, and the text function is now working as well.
