If a virtual machine is set to autostart and/or autoshutdown, allow a temporary option to bypass this for VM management. eg autostart - from the dock, another menu with 'Skip Autostart'? ego autoshutdown - a menu flag 'Skip Autoshutdown' that gets selected before the guest os is shutdown.
