Hi all and thank you for this great place to use and discuss Parallels.:D . I have parallels 2.2.2070 installed on LinuxXP and everything is working great except for my printers:cool: .

They are working on LinuxXP but for some reason I can't get them to work on Windows XP in Parallels. Can someone assist:confused:

    Thanks, paul

Setup Samba server and share your printers. Then setup as network printers in the guest.

Thanks, I think Samba is setup, but I'll check and if not I'll give it a try.

    No-go

Sorry, thats a no-go. Samba is setup and WindowsXP sees the printer on the network and Windows has a driver for the HP960c, but I continually get the error message:

    Access denied, unable to connect.

The printer is setup in SAMBA to allow all hosts with no authentication

    .
You need to setup a Samba user that is the same name as the user you login to windohs with. Also the same password. Then it should work.
