Are additional virtual hard drives stored in the .pvm file for the VM?

I created an additional hard drive for my Windows 11 VM (so that I can have OS on C:\ and data on D:\).
I'm assuning that my D:\ hard drive is just a part of the virtual machine .pvm file in Parallels? I just want to make sure that everything is together when I backup the VM.
