I have been trying to install Puppy Linux in a Parallels VM but without success so far. I downloaded a Puppy Linux 64bit iso image and tried to create a new VM. Parallels didn't seem to recognize an OS when I directed it to the Puppy iso. So I selected a Ubuntu OS type and continued with the install. I did start to get some startup screens from the Puppy Linux install but it seemed to stop with a black screen and I couldn't progress any further. Does anyone have thoughts on how to get this to install properly? Thanks.
I have the same problem (2023-03-23) ... I tried various boot choices, including the RAM /nosave option (recommended elsewhere on web), and (at best) end up with a black screen with a blinking cursor (and no response to anything).
