Having a total geek moment here. Posted earlier about running 3 OSs, now I'm running Ubuntu Linux, Fedora Core 4, Windows XP and Mac OS X all at the same time on my MacBook Pro. Getting close to running out of RAM, but pretty amazing that Parallels Workstation allows me to do this. http://www.lyzrdstomp.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=228&Itemid=1
ubuntu xserver issues hi ivanjs, I've encountered problems during ubuntu startup. It seems that xserver cannot handle the 1440x900 (fullscreen) resolution on my macbook pro. Did you try ubuntu on this resolution? thank you. Giorgio
Ivanjs, You actually got Fedora running on PW? Cool! I haven't been able to successfuly get it to work yet. Did it install without any hitches or did yiou have to play around with it? Cheers, peterw
I got FC5 working awhile back, and even got 1440x900 res working by adding an appropriate Modeline. (I started a thread on this; you should be able to find it with a search.) But I've since switched over to Ubuntu and that worked at native res right out of the box.
