I'd just like to throw some input here regarding the Automatic Update checking functionality of parallels. I have parallels set to check fairly often for new version, daily infact. And i've noticed the extremely annoying habit of parallels stopping in its tracks, stop taking input etc. when it checks for an update and doesn't find a new update. IMO, and probably lots of other Mac users opinions that this is kind of backwards behaviour for a Mac app, it's very Windows-y feeling actually. Can we please have it so the Automatic Update will just leave us alone unless it finds an update. it's very annoying to get interrupted in the middle of doing something and to be forced to click the OK button just to acknowledge that there was nothing new to download for Parallels. Thanks for reading this.
