Hi all, I'm a huge computer newbie so hang with me. I recently installed Parallels on my macbook in the hope of playing some of my favorite late 1990's games. But it runs very slow, frame-wise. These are for games that came out in 1998! Is there a way to make it run faster, as in dedicating all of the mac's resources towards XP in Parallels? There can't really be any excuse for a slow performance for such old games (starcraft, tribes, half-life 1).

Apologies if this has already been asked

    Hello Potranquility,

Please start Parallels just after you have booted up your Mac.
Decrease the amount of virtual RAM for your VM in Configuration Editor, Memory section.

    Best regards,
    Xenos
