I am trying to get am older game to work; Age of Empires II. I installed the two available updates. I can get it working but not well. It's slow, colors are wrong, red dots everywhere and there is a black square around the mouse. Also a strange thing is when I launch the game the first time I get an error message saying error in graphics driver and the second time I see the intro video and then the game but the quality is bad but the main problem is it runs slow, full-screen or window. Did anyone try Age of Empires II yet? Thanks

I am running the latest Parallels Desktop 6 and Age of Empires starts and is runs smoothly but, the graphics glitches you mentioned (cursor black instead of transparent, red and green dots on the map and water) still remain... I am thinking about to open a support request for that
google is your friend after googleing a little I found the solution. Either install a Windows XP VM or kill the explorer.exe process in the task manager in Win7. after finishing the game you can start the process again from the task manager. I tried it out and it worked!
