Upgraded from Kali 2018.2 to 2018.3 (also tried with a fresh install of 2018.3) and I lost the capacity to do widescreen. I now just have to 4:3 ratio screen detected. Tried all the graphic settings, 3D and memory to no avail. This is fine with previous versions. Running this on MacBook Pro. I have another MacBook running VMware, and I have no screen issues at all with this new version. Seems specific to Parallels 14
