Good morning! I've been having a nagging problem with Parallels through multiple versions (3 to 5) that has been annoying at times, but never as bad as with Parallels 5 running Windows 7. I use Windows primarily for the applications Autocad Architecture and Rhinoceros, CAD/3d tools. The problem is this: When I am running autocad only, after a few hours of drawing (involving LOTs of clicking), suddenly any click of the mouse elicits strange behavior from Windows. Primarily, the application will either minimize or begin to open new versions of itself with every click. I close all instances of Autocad that have opened, close my working instance and then restart windows and the problem goes away. This problem demonstrated itself through every version of parallels, running Windows XP. Now that I've upgraded to both windows 7 and Parallels 5, the problem seems to have gotten worse. Furthermore, when I have both autocad and rhino open, it happens much sooner than with just autocad open, leading me to believe this is a system resources issue. However, I'm running a brand new imac with the i7 four-core chip and 8 gb of RAM. Is it possible that Parallels 5, win 7 and both apps consume the entire 6gb of memory i've allocated to Windows? Also, I have NO other apps running in OSX. Please help! Thanks, Garth
