Consistently, every time I shut down a Guest OS, prl_vm_app spikes to 100%, and never quits. I must force quit it.

Note that when this happens, the Guest OS has already been shut down. No Guest OS's are running at all, and the Parallels GUI is also not running. Yet Activity Monitor shows prl_vm_app running at 100%.

I have left it running for up to an hour before force killing it. It never quits on its own.

This is happening on all guest types, including Windows 7 and FreeBSD.

    Running Parallels 7.0.15054

    Host Machine:
    Macbook Pro 17 i7 2.3Ghz
    8Gb RAM
    OS X 10.6.8

    Me too.

Today, I quit Parallels from Activity Monitor, and when I came back later, I noticed prl_vmm_app still running away, varying from 33-45% CPU. This is for Parallels 7 on OS 10.6.8. How do I make it not do this?
