My PC mainboard just died so I'm going to move to my MacBook Pro full time. I'm currently using XP and Win7x64Pro in VMs, and I'm pretty happy with the performance. But, in the interests of having a native Windows option, I'm considering switching the Win7 VM to the following configuration: - Boot Camp NTFS partition - Parallels for convenient access to Win7, but leaving it on the Boot Camp partition, not importing into a .pvm - Store any Windows-relevant data on NTFS, and access from the Mac side using Paragon NTFS 8, and also from WinXP VM. Is anyone using a similar configuration? Any advice? I'm concerned about activation issues with Win7 and/or Office when switching back and forth between VM access and native Boot Camp. Alternatively, I could store data on the HFS partition and access from Boot Camp using WinHFS or something. Since the point of Boot Camp would be performance, though, I'd rather not. Thanks in advance.
