Hi,
Just bought Parallels 6, and am looking for some advice. I've got both Office 2011 (Mac) and Office 2007 (Win), and am far more comfortable with the commands in Office 2007 (its easier, I can open links to files on my network, etc - simply put, I prefer the Windows version of Office. Moreover, I'm not terribly enthused by Boot Camp. Coherence in Parallels seems far more appealing. My questions are:
1. Do many people use Parallels all day long for Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint? Any significant performance degradation through the course of the day?
2. I have a MBP 13" (7.1) with 4 GB RAM. Should I consider upgrading to 8 GB (or 6 GB If that works) in order to minimize performance degradation on both the Mac and Win sides?
3. Will I be able to use Outlook for Windows and Word/Office/Powerpoint for Mac?
Comments/advice from anyone with daily use experience would be greatly appreciated!
