    Hi,

I recently got Parrallels for my Mac (Windows 8) and i was trying to update a game i had but it said that to update and delete i needed Administrative access. I then noticed this happening with other files. Please explain the steps to making me have administrative access.
    Thank you for your help!

To check your Administrator access in windows 7:
Start>control panel>user Accounts>Change Your Account Type - here you will see the administrator.

For individual programs you may need to grant yourself Administrator Rights . But without knowing which os you want admin right and if you have them, and for which program the answer has to be very general and may not work for your application.

But I assume it's solved, since it's not much different the instructions for Windows 8 than it is for 7.

    *sigh*
Not kat's instructions, those were meant only to see if you are and Administrator or not. The link I posted.
