I am trying to install a Photosmart printer. Everything seems fine--Prinnter Ready-2 documents ready to print--but it won't print! Thought I folowed the user manual pretty carefully. What did I miss? Help!
Hi Holly If you download Bonjour from the apple website and install it, the program will open up the use of your HP printer after following the installation prompts. Be sure to use the relevant Bonjour program for your operating syatem, ie. windows or Mac Regards LV69
Thanks for this VALUABLE information. If this is what you need to do, why doesn't Parallels include it in their user manual!?!
. Parallels are doing all they can to get pass through usb working. They never really intended to use network printing as the usb grail has been tantalisingly close for a little while now. So the network printing was never thought of as anything more than a short term work around. It's just that the usb grail is such because it remains so tantalisingly unavailable, and others, including myself, have found that network printing actually works nicely in itself. Parallels remain fully confident of providing pass through usb, so spending time writing docs about short term work arounds, would only detract from that. Plus there are plenty of helpful people to scribe it here on these forums. .
