See sig for config I'm having trouble setting up WinXP to access a USB printer that's being shared-out by a Mac on my LAN. I followed the Parallels User Guide successfully, right up to the point where it says "Continue general network printer installation." It's at this point that the Add Printer Wizard shows me a list of shared network printers (and mine is shown) and says "Select the one you want to use." I click on BIGGUY (under WORKGROUP) and click Next. An error dialog comes up saying "You need to specify a valid network printer name." Thanks, Mr. Wizard! So I type BIGGUY into the text box labeled "Printer", and hit Next again. Now it says "Cannot connect to printer. Either the printer name was typed incorrectly, or the specified printer has lost its connection to the server." Well, since I don't know what it wanted for a valid network printer name, it's possible I typed it incorrectly, but I don't know. The Mac that's sharing-out the printer is running 10.4.11. The printer is a Brother 2040. Works fine from the Mac side of my laptop. Anybody got any good ideas? Thanks, Chap
