Activation limit reached?

    Parallels support team,
    I have purchased Parallels Desktop 12 software and was using it 2014 Mac which I sold and now have in my possession a 2016 12" MacBook.
    I'm trying to transfer the license, to this machine but I get an error message stating that I have reached the limit of activations and should purchase a new license or contact support.
    Can you remove the restriction and reset this licence?
