Activation Key Missing

Hi,
I got parallels about one and a half years ago, and recently have reset my Mac to factory settings, as it had become sluggish. What I forgot was to take a look or write down my activation key, which it is now prompting me to enter, after I pulled Parallels onto a flash drive and back onto my reset Mac, along with the virtual machine that has quite a few files on it. I can open parallels and the virtual machine until I want to actually launch it by clicking on the icon, and it simply doesn't start, I can click as often as I want to but nothing happens, and it then prompts me for my activation key again. Please help! Thanks in the future!
