Acornis 1 Year Free for Parallels Desktop 12 not showing

    I am running Parallels Desktop 12 and would like to use the included offer:
    "Your purchase includes 1-year 500 GB Acronis Online Backup Service. You will be ready to use this Online Backup service starting August 23 2016"
    I have followed instructions in Article ID: 123870: 'How to redeem the Acronis True Image offer in Parallels Desktop 12 for Mac'.
    When selecting 'Backup with Acornis True Image' the opened window only offers the 30 day trial. I am unable to redeem the offer for 1 year included with PD12.
    I have followed the instructions in the article for the terminal command to reset the offer window but this didn't help.
    I have removed and re-installed PD12. Removal by dragging the app to the trash, emptying trash and rebooting. This didn't help.

    Please help with redeeming the Acornis 1 year offer included with PD12.

    Further information on this issue:
    I was previously running the latest version of PD 12 - Version 12.0.1 (41296).
    I have PD12 through an upgrade license to upgrade PD10 -> PD12.
    The host is OSX El Capitan.

    Today I updated to the new version of PD12 and the 1yr offer is now present - Version 12.0.2 (41353).
    So for me the problem is solved by the new version of PD12. It will be interesting to check the list of updates to see if this is listed as a fix.

    Did you buy the upgrade? If your a subscription user and all ready had a subscription and did not buy parallels desktop 12 the offer is no good. Same reason i didn't get my acronis offer. Because i all ready had a license and just downloaded the upgrade when it came out.

    @Dustin. Yes, I purchased an upgrade to PD12. This was one of those frustrating problems which I just couldn't get past and then it resolved itself when I installed the latest update. I now have Acornis working and showing a 1 year license as expected. If someone else has this issue maybe the solution is to ensure you are running the new version Version 12.0.2 (41353).
