    Hi Team

For reasons I can't explain (nor remember), I have deleted my Virtual Machine, which I had stored in a Shared folder.

Windows XP ran fine all day, I suspended it, and then tried to re-open it later in the day.

Parallels came up with Untitled Virtual Machine, obviously looking for the VM.

I tried to navigate to the folder, assuming that Users/Shared/Parallels/winxp/winxp.vms would be there, but no, only winxp.sav and winxp.hdd are present in that folder.

I have lots of accounting data that I need from the instance of MYOB that was installed there. What puzzles me is that if it ran all day, and I have now simply rebooted from a suspended state, is the VM sitting there somewhere, possible accessible?

Any help, will obviously, be graciously received.

    Ivan

Well, the good news (hopefully) is that your hard disk image (.hdd) is not gone. This means that, supposing that this file is not corrupted, you merely have to set up a new VM, and replace the .hdd file in the new VM with the original one. Then start up the VM and see what happens.
