    Hello,

I am trying to locate my windows files from Finder in Mac. Where are the files? For instance, suppose I saved a .XLS file on a folder in my Windows environment, how can I locate it through Finder?

I recently purchased an external backup device for my Mac and I want to ensure that if my iMac blows up one day, I can still retrieve my Mac AND Windows files. Is this possible?

    Please help!
    Thanks!
    Zack

This is configurable from within the VM options.

From the Virtual Machine menu, select Configure
Switch to the Options section and Choose the Sharing entry
Towards the bottom you will see the Share Windows section. Enable the "Access Windows folders from Mac" and "Mount virtual disks to Mac desktop".

This will create an alias on your desktop for the Windows hard drive. You can then access all Windows files from your Mac.
