I use Access 2007 daily. Yesterday I double-clicked the shortcut on my Mac desktop and the frame of Access loaded but the bulk was black. I then tried loading Access from the Windows Start Menu. The same thing happened at which point I gave up. Today I thought I would try re-loading Access and inserted the DVD. I navigated via the Windows Start Menu to File Explorer. Again I had the frame but this time I could see all the icons but there was no text. I am stumped, I am running v13, fully up-to-date, macOS High Sierra 10.13.3 and Windows 10. My Mac is a 2012 Mini. I had made no changes to anything since it worked the previous day. Please can you help? Thanks
I think I have solved it. I last used Access on 13/3 and a dump of Windows and Office updates came down afterwards. It was 14th that it would not work. After much fiddling and trying (unsuccessfully) to do system restore, it sort of 'magically' came back to life. Whilst I hadn't made any changes, clearly Microsoft had! Thanks for reading.
