98 guest OS can only talk with XP host OS

    I installed a Windows 98 guest OS in a Xp Pro host OS.
    I tried both DHCP or static IP but the result is the 98 can only talk to the XP.
    Host XP is woking fine without any problem to access internet or other resources within the network but the guest 98 can't access any of them.
    Is there anybody with similar experience? Please advise.

    Are you sure you chosen Bridged Mode in VM networking settings (and not host only?).
