30 days of free support is ridiculously low. I regret purchasing a product with such a shabby support policy. I will not be purchasing Parallels again until they provide a more reasonable period of time for support with purchase. 6 months of support is not unreasonable and gives home and small business users, especially those new to the application, time to learn how to use it and get help if they need it.
I totally agree, insufficient tech support for new users thought I was going to like having parallels but it looks like I'll still be depending on my bootcamp for some things that I have to do. One program I only run occasionally and just found out I can't run it in parallels... two weeks after my free support period ended. Either extend the time or give users a number of free tech support requests.
