Would be great if you could enable full 3D graphics support for DirectX.

I've heard this is coming with v4. Fingers crossed.

Specifically, it would be important that virtual globes run well under Parallels with a virtual disk. Such as ArcGIS Explorer:

    as well as ArcGlobe.

These run with DirectX and .NET framework 2.0 ... .

(Apparently ArcGIS Explorer works ok if parallels is configured with a Boot Camp install of Windows; but would be important to have it work ok with a standard virtual configuration).

    Thanks,
    Bill

What I want more then anything else is 3D accelerated Xorg driver for Linux. I have a big graphics card in my mac pro (go dust buster cooler) and I would love to be able to do all of the WINE stuff I used to on my Mac as I did under generic PC. With a good 3D driver for Linux guests and a Wine 1.0 RC build in a virtual machine you could get the effect of a (mostly) full XP guest with full DX 9.x support. They have made truly amazing progress translating DirectX calls to OpenGL in Wine.
