I'm getting a BSOD when I try to boot up BC using Parallels. BC works fine on its own. In Parallels, however, I get the BSOD before the Windows logo comes up. Then the VM reboots and I get the same thing all over again. I have reinstalled Parallels. I have created a new VM for Boot Camp. I have run a repair install of Win XP through Boot Camp. I would try to remove the Tools, but of course I can't do that until I can boot with Parallels. Any ideas?
Hmm.... Have you tried going into Safe Mode? Here is a thread I wrote on this: http://forum.parallels.com/thread10384.html
Yes, I've tried safe mode. Normal boot, safe mode, throw the laptop out the window mode... BSOD regardless. I'll check out the other thread, thanks!
I tried what I could from your other thread (reinstall Parallels), but it didn't solve the problem. When I boot into Safe Mode I get blue screen of death right after mup.sys appears. This does not happen when I boot directly into Boot Camp.
